International Surveillance Technology, Inc was originally founded in 1994 as Innovative Surveillance Technology and came about as a result of a management buyout in October of 2006.

Don DiFrisco, President & CEO of Innovative Surveillance Technology, Inc since August, 2004, orchestrated a management buyout; acquiring all of the assets of Innovative, including the National Intelligence Academy (NIA) from the investor group that owned it. Mr. DiFrisco now owns 100% of International. The new IST now occupies approximately 11,000 square feet of production space in Deerfield Beach, FL. Lewis Nadel remains Executive Vice President of International and Steve Grilli remains as International’s Vice President of Service Operations running the 8000 square foot Lorton, VA facility. International retained the engineering and production staff of Innovative and all federal contracts.
