Managing a Technical Support Unit - An intense program, this training will provide the attendee with a fundamental understanding of methods and techniques of tech room operations, equipment selection, maintenance and control. Through numerous hands-on training situations, the students will apply their skills using various aspects of management and supervisory skills from equipment selection, and inventory, through systematic advanced methods of tech room Standard Operating Procedure and development.

Managing Covert Operations - Emphasized are the steps necessary to avoid operational and administrative pitfalls. Discussed will be some of the types of Entrapment and Fourth Amendment Issues, Officer/Agent Safety, Accountability, Unit Finance and Operating Procedures. Case managers and investigators will enhance their skill on how to reduce or prevent the physical and an administrative hazard inherent in covert operations. Practical exercises are also part of this course.
