Audio and Video

Practical Surveillance Ops for Street Agents - This is an outstanding introductory level course for law enforcement personnel. The course presents a comprehensive overview of technology utilized in law enforcement surveillance including: audio intelligence gathering, video surveillance, basic physical and electronic surveillance, and other topics imperative to a successful covert operation. This course is designed for street agents to enable them to conduct successful technical support of complex investigations.

Basic Electronic and Audio Intercepts - It is designed for law enforcement personnel who want to receive a comprehensive foundation in the intercept and collection of Audio Evidence/Intelligence. An intense technical program, this training will provide the attendee with a complete understanding of surveillance concepts and applications. Through hands-on work with the latest technical equipment, the students will apply the skills they learn.

Basic Video Surveillance Operations - In this course attendees will design and setup video surveillance systems in a variety of simulated situations. Emphasis is on “hands-on” work. Students will learn techniques for hardwire and RF installations and quick installs of audio/video in vehicles.

Covert Vehicle Installation – It is designed to train investigators/agents to install and operate various types of electronic, audio and video recording equipment in "drive in" classroom specifically equipped for covert vehicle installations.

Video Microwave Operations - The course presents a solid understanding of effectively integrating and deploying wireless transmission devices from body-wear to multi-mile video links.
This course is divided into two distinct sections. Featuring Pacific Microwave.

Advanced Video Platforms (Video Over IP) - The course presents a comprehensive overview of video over I.P. Platforms, as well as an introduction to MESH networking and fiber optics as they relate to surveillance capabilities.

Advanced A/V Concealment Techniques - This program is designed to challenge the imagination and creativity of the attendee. This course is designed to bring together all the past courses the agent has taken and add new skills through scenarios that are both true to life and follow a demanding timeline.

Sensor Activated Video Surveillance – This course is unique and complex use of sensor activation technology is presented in a comprehensive combination of classroom lecture and field-work exercises.

Surveillance Platform Technology - This course is for those seeking initial or refresher platform operations training, where each graduate is prepared to become a qualified operator.

Advanced Audio/Video Concealments - This program is designed for maximum “hands-on” experience and every afternoon session is devoted to making something that will be useful in “technical surveillance operations”, or learning a technique by actually installing equipment in a simulated case. Students will learn how to construct custom enclosures, setup and use DTMF controlled equipment, setup a day/night surveillance, conduct onsite surveys, setup and use pole cameras and video modem type devices.

Digital – Photography

Digital Imaging for Surveillance - This course will enhance the student's knowledge, skills, and abilities to use new digital technologies to their full capability and effectively integrate them with more traditional analog technologies. Issues relating to data enhancement, security, and integrity will also be addressed.

Advanced Digital Enhancement Technology - This course expands on the concepts discussed in the Digital Investigative Technologies course and includes hands-on training on several audio and image enhancement technologies.

Technicians

Electronic Technical Applications I (ATIC) – This course is strongly recommended for all personnel involved in technical operations. Electronic Technical Applications will provide a solid background in electronics as they relate to skills needed to maintain and troubleshoot surveillance equipment.

Electronic Technical Applications II (STIC) - The course will enhance the troubleshooting skills of the students and continue to strengthen their knowledge of electronics.

Bench Work for Technicians (ETAIII) - This course will allow for the sharing of ideas and trouble shooting techniques, along with problem, solving of unique electronic surveillance situations.

Tracking-GPS

Basic Law Enforcement Surveillance (Tracking) - This course will address the concepts of foot surveillance, vehicle surveillance and various tracking systems. Numerous "hands-on" practical exercises provide the students with the pragmatic application and use of electronic tracking systems in different environments and conditions as well as officer safety, cover team operations.

Advanced Law Enforcement Surveillance (Tracking) - It is designed for law enforcement personnel who want to build on their Tracking skills. This will provide all “hands-on” practical exercises for us of GPS tracking systems in different environments and conditions.
